Individual Memberships - A great way for people aged 18 years and above to join a worldwide respected Community Service Club. There are many opportunities to enhance your personal lifestyle, professional career and network of friends and colleagues.
Friends of Rotary - We rely on our Friends to support us on our fund-raising ventures. Our friends and supporters are invaluable in helping the Club stay so supportive for the community.
We are delighted to welcome our 10th member, 5th new member in 6 months. Cathy Highet brings a wealth of experience to our club. Cathy has lived in Katherine for more than 40 years and in that time has worked tirelessly both in business and in volunteering. Besides running her own beauty therapy business, Cathy is commanding officer of RAAF 803 Squadron Air Force Cadets and she teaches her cohort resilience, leadership, self-reliance and initiative through varied programs. Cathy has been involved in a multitude of voluntary organisations including being the president of the Katherine Show Society, Katherine, the Tick Market and is a passionate member of
the Beef and Burgandy Club, besides having input into a whole host of other voluntary organisations. Cathy recently completed the NT Swade Digital Mentoring course and is a founder member for the Rotary Computer Club. Cathy runs her own beauty salon and juggles voluntary work, work and hobbies extremely well.
Cathy has immediately been co-opted onto the committee that will be bringing the movie “I am Woman” to Katherine Cinema 3. I am Woman is the story of Helen Reddy and this movie has been chosen by Rotary as fundraiser for the fight against polio.
